3 Hour Bike Ride to Church each Week
"Their faith is so strong and they love the church." On Thursday (Aug. 24) me and Elder Shai went with dad be (grandpa) to his house to teach him and his wife. They're members but they live so far away and they love having missionaries come and teach them. They've been asking us for awhile so we had to give up half a day to go all the way there but it was so amazing. They live in the mountains and it's a 3 hour bike ride from their house to the church. Not a nice road but a bumpy mountain biking rode. He and his wife are about 70. He drives the bike and she sits on the back. It's super awesome to see how amazing their faith is. They never miss church and they make the ride every week it is so amazing. Their faith is so strong and they love the church. I learned a lot f...
Two awesome stories about this week! I learned a lot about having strong faith and memebers who give a lot to the church. There was a lot of people there and it was really cool. A drunk guy came up to us and told us we shouldn't be there because we weren't worshiping our ancestors. But everyone else there loved to have us come as long as we were respectful. It was pretty cool to watch and they invited me and my companion to go into the tomb it was pretty scary... And I hope I didn't get the plague from going in! Sorry mom. All of our areas are branches but we are hoping to make a stake. One of our areas is the branch the Adams talked about were the church gave them bricks and the member...
