Two awesome stories about this week! I learned a lot about having strong faith and memebers who give a lot to the church.

On friday elder Shai and I got invited to a Famadiana which is turning in malagasy. It happens around august and it's when malagasy take their deceases anscetors out of tombs and dance them around it's pretty crazy I will send pictures. It was really interesting to watch! There was a lot of people there and it was really cool. A drunk guy came up to us and told us we shouldn't be there because we weren't worshiping our ancestors. But everyone else there loved to have us come as long as we were respectful. It was pretty cool to watch and they invited me and my companion to go into the tomb it was pretty scary... And I hope I didn't get the plague from going in! Sorry mom.

All of our areas are branches but we are hoping to make a stake. One of our areas is the branch the Adams talked about were the church gave them bricks and the members built their own church building high up in the mountains. We've met some members from there and their faith is so strong they have to walk about 1-2 hours to get to church and it's straight up hill. A family we're teaching there wants to get baptised really bad but we don't know if we can baptize the grandmas because she can't get out of bed. Her faith is so strong and hope we can find away to baptise her.

We tracted a lot this week. We got yelled at by a guy and I had no idea what he was saying but everyone with him was laughing at us so that was fun. We got a lot of doors slammed on our faces but and one guy told us to go awaya like how you tell a dog to go away. It's so awesome when you get let into a house and you know they've been looking for the gospel. We're only looking for the elect and some people aren't ready for the gospel. I know the church is true and the members here are awesome! Love you guys,

-Elder Willey
